It all started after the semifinals of Bangalore Royal Challengers RCB vs CSK Chennai Super Kings on May 23, 2009 , we being Bangalore supporters had a additional reason to relish .
Our trip to Shirdi on the same night added to the enjoyment....we were 8 of us n tis ws the first tour after being moved to Pune....we left arnd 12 in the midnite....its arnd 220 kms from Pune.....excitement cum thrill fr nite journey....We had bord a Tavera ....Fun of the tour started with playing Antakshari.....4 in each team.....n we 8 of us wer reprsentin national integrity....as we wer from diffrnt parts of India...l8r one by one started dozzin...finally reached arnd 4 in the morning..l8r had to stand in Q for vision of divine Sai Baba....
Nw I get it why people travel from such long distance for a short glimpse or Darshan when they can happily do the same sitting at home. I tell you it feels heaven when u just stand in front of that beautiful sparkling statue and jst stare into Baba's eye s , the feeling, the energy , the happiness is overwhelming which is not the same when you sit at home. No wonder our ancestors said and gave so much importance to Tirtha yatra, it just brings you closer to the Divine...
From there we next headed towrds Shani Shinganapur..an hour and half from Shirdi...the deity here is Lord Shani - personification of planet Saturn and the deity is in form of Black rock, specialty is people themselves can worship the lord and also the local people believe that no crime can happen in this place and hence the houses here do not have doors only door frames....

Guys from our group offered prayers , From there we headed back to Pune.On the way back we had all this masti of bottle fight, all the empty Bisleri water bottles were put to use..... accompanied with action dance (by action I mean the dance style and steps were nothing but day to day activities like moping the floor style... washing clothes style...washin vessel.. and so on).. I tell you its fun , try once!!.. not to put the usual dance steps people do, instead try out this day to day activity style....U ll love it.....then as the Sun set we reached Pune .. all tired and burned out...
One more memory added to my list , to hold in my mind... :) :)
Guys I am coming back to this blog piece after 4 years to publish it. I dont know y it took so much time. Anyways I publish this on event of upcomin RCB vs CSK wit memories of my super dooper friends , the time we spent havin fun....
